I was always on a diet. And then I met Kelly. I am now living my life.
I was overweight through most of my 30s thanks to a content marriage and eating out a lot. But then made a decision to get healthy, and I lost a bunch of weight. But I obsessed about it. Every day. And I tracked every bite. And I worked out. A lot. And I tracked that too. Down to the last calorie. But I was never satisfied. And I was always thinking about it. I was lucky enough to have found Kelly, and in our initial meeting she asked a lot of questions about why I did the things I did. It helped to put it out there. I was always on a diet, and while I had made quite a bit of progress, at 40 I was stuck and always working to lose those last 10-15 lbs. And when I got there – then what?
Kelly taught me a lot of things while we worked together, but most of all she taught me to live without extremes. Every two weeks we would discuss my progress, and Kelly would give me a few things to work on. If I focused on a few key things each week, like incorporating more greens into my diet or enjoying an occasional glass of wine (instead of 3 or 4), I wouldn’t see such massive shifts on the scale, and maybe, just maybe – I could start to enjoy things while finding a balance. Kelly would ask me questions, and being open to this process, I would answer them. And a lot of times it wasn’t until she would restate what I just said, that I would realized WHAT I actually said. And it made sense. That this, above all other things I tried, was really working.
And while Kelly never asked me to give up anything, she had fantastic insight into WHY I was doing the things I was doing, just because I was so used to doing them. So that made me wake up and realize the way I had been doing it wasn’t working. And Kelly helped me figure out how to eat to nourish my body, and surround myself with good habits, that will lead me on a path to living my life without always being on a diet. And I’m learning to be happy with the body that Kelly has helped me shape, and it is one I want to live in for a long time.
"I felt like a million bucks"
Kelly's cleanse workshop was masterful - her knowledge and abundance of ideas made the cleanse interesting and fun. She has a philosophy that is very much in line with moderation and her flexibility and support throughout the process made it possible. Her recipes were greate and I felt like a million bucks during the week. It was so great that I'm now trying to figure out how to incorporate elements of it into my daily life!"

My experience working with Kelly was fantastic. She provided amazing insight into and strategies for improving my own health and nutrition, while always allowing me the expertise of my own body. I think the key for Kelly is balance of life, food, etc. and each session had a wonderful blend of all these inextricable factors."
